Meet Company Founder, Doug Rauen
Mr. Rauen is a business executive who has spent over two decades in the livery and transportation industry. As President of Point To Point (PTP) Town car and Transportation, Inc, he has been responsible for pioneering the development and execution of the towncar industry for the City of Portland since in 1997. Mr. Rauen also manages the day-to-day execution and operation of a growing transportation company servicing the entire Portland Metro area.
Mr. Rauen has forged relationships and partnered with top companies such as Nike, Freightliner and other local and national companies to provide their executives the utmost care in livery needs. Mr. Rauen began in the livery portion of his career nearly twenty years ago at Prestige Limousines, where he began as a professional chauffeur. Several years after that a client persuaded
Mr. Rauen to move to the East Coast and work in the Business Development group of a Fortune 100 company, building Environmental Waste Incinerations. After fulfilling his five year contact, his love for the Northwest called him back.
Upon his return he jumped at the chance to become a company shareholder of Prestige Limousines and bring his business knowledge to this local industry. After joining Prestige in 1996, Mr. Rauen was initially responsible for managing the administration for 35 employees, sales and operational functions.
Mr. Rauen graduated from Linfield College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Mathematics. Mr. Rauen formerly served on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Business Association, here in Portland. Currently, his is on the Company Standing Sub-committee Private for Hire Transportation Board for the City of Portland. In addition to owning and operating a million dollar company, PTP, his current passion is in the upstart of a new internet company called limo.com. He has for several years worked on the development of a comprehensive web site to serve the needs limo operators' nation wide and well as promoting a limo directory for consumer's world wide.
As a former competitive All American in Track, Mr. Rauen has a passion for personal wellness, grilling/cooking and smallmouth trophy bass fishing. Mr. Rauen will assist in company strategy and oversee all aspects of business development, marketing and sponsorship.
